So it seems Example is the latest grime artist to try and smash the mainstream, riding the wave of chart success recently seen from the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk and N-Dubz.
Would be pretty annoying if the song wasn’t so good, coupled with a great video. If you don’t like it first time around (I didn’t), then it will definitely grow on you.
Saying that, I much preferred his previous look with the massive crazed hair and beard along with his lyrics about shoving champagne bottles up girl’s privates.
The new look was compared to my housemate Elliott, who said this video is what it would be like if he ever made a video- with ‘lots of awkward close ups and him never looking quite right’ haha…
